Senior Caucus has approved seven resolutions to take to your caucus on Tuesday, February 3, 2024. All are on the approved DFL resolutions form and are printable. Click each link to open the document, then print it and take it to your caucus.
Be sure to fill out all required information at the top of the form: Congressional District, Organizing Unit, Precinct, and your name and other details. Incomplete forms will not survive the process.
The DFL Platform lacks a section that focuses on senior issues. We need to create an Aging with Dignity category in the platform, and work to add the other policies listed here. Be prepared to present them briefly and encourage people to vote for them.
And recruit allies: you can take multiple copies to the caucus on February 3 and ask friendly people to fill in the top part. You might be able to reach more caucuses than just your own this way. Ask them to submit to their precinct and vote for the resolution. After all, you don’t need to be a senior to support these resolutions!
