OVERVIEW
There are seven officers and at least eight directors-at-large.
Officers are Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary (and Facebook administrator), Treasurer, Membership (and Outreach), Technology Director, and Liaison to the DFL State Executive Committee (SEC). The DFL recommends that the gender identification of the Chair and Vice Chair are not the same.
The work of the Senior Caucus is accomplished through its committees, work groups and chapters.
The committees and work groups are made up of Senior Caucus members.

Senior Caucus Fall Gala
The Senior Caucus sponsors a social event in the fall of odd-numbered years to have a good time! Good food, good company, good speakers, good music. a GOOD way to meet other seniors in a casual setting. And a costume contest with prizes!

Linda Hopkis Teaches History
Senior Caucus member Linda Hopkins is offering two classes at the Shoreview Community Center (4600 Victoria Street N). To register, call 651-490-4750 or go online to shoreviewmn.gov/parks-rec. The cost is $17 for Shoreview residents and $19 for nonresidents; the time is 1-3:00p.
September 18: The tumultuous life of Clementine Churchill
Clementine Churchill was the remarkable woman behind Winston. Although a timid child, she grew into one of the first women political campaign managers (for Winston). She challenged leaders like Roosevelt and Stalin, supported women’s rights, and helped guide Britain through its darkest hours all while parenting five challenging children. Discover her remarkable story of strength, strategy, and service in this engaging talk.

In the 1960s, amid protests and social change, young women served as nurses in the Vietnam War. These two talks highlight their courage in caring for wounded soldiers, the struggles they faced returning home, and how they healed themselves and the nation.
